It started as an idea of Mr Pelantakis to build 5 houses for his children to live in. As an electritioan he new the way to create quality houses and supervice all the way during the constraction.

Since the children are all having their careers and jobs around Crete the family desided to enriches the houses with private gardens, swimming pools and equip them with luxurius furniture and appliances. It all came to one thing. Provide a home style accomodation for people from all over the world to learn about the Cretan way of living. The Cretans anyhow have the need to share the blessings of the island with others. It is the Xenious Zeus after all...

Christina Villas started operation in summer 2007. After the first year the Pelantakis family learned a lot about the required hospitality and the needs that this type of tourism has.

This procedure paid off from the next season alredy and still goes on.
